Snap Size and Style Solutions privacy notice
Effective: 19 January 2023
Snap provides Size and Style Solutions for shoppers looking to purchase clothes and shoes, including our Fit Finder (accessible through wording such as 'Find my size', 'Fit Finder' or 'Size Finder'), 2D Try On and Style Finder services. These technologies use cutting-edge machine learning algorithms based on fit and size information provided by shoppers, purchase and return data provided by shops, and shopper browsing observations to provide size and style recommendations and personalised advertisements. These solutions may be available on Snapchat, as well as our partner shops' websites, apps and Shopify stores.
This notice is designed to let you know 'who, what and how' personal information is processed when you use our Size and Style Solutions.
Who we are
When you use our Size and Style Solutions, we collect personal information about you. This is controlled by Snap Inc. At Snap, we make your privacy a priority. What information we collect about you
Our Size and Style Solutions may collect data about you:
On partner shops' websites, apps and Shopify stores: when you use our Size and Style Solutions or allow our non-essential cookies on any partner website, app or Shopify store.
On Snapchat: when you browse our partner shops' products and use our Size and Style Solutions within Snapchat.
The categories of personal information we may collect are:

Note that some of our partner shops ask us to provide you with size recommendations on their websites, apps, Snapchat stores and Shopify stores, based on your past purchase history, prior to you entering your Fit Profile and requesting recommendations from us. Our partner shops are required to ensure it is lawful for them to provide us with shop user ID, product and past purchase information, so we can provide these immediate recommendations.
What we use your information for
Whether using our Size and Style Solutions on Snapchat or on a partner shop website or native app, we may use the personal information we collect:

We delete or anonymise your personal information after 13 months from the date of last use, except:
Unhashed IP addresses, which are temporarily stored for operational reasons.
2D Try On images, which may be saved to your Snap account and device if using 2D Try On on Snapchat, but are otherwise promptly deleted after the image showing the product is provided.
Keep in mind that, while our systems are designed to carry out our deletion and anonymisation practices automatically, there are circumstances where deletion or anonymisation may not occur within a specific time frame. Learn more here.
Size and Style Solutions on Snapchat
Shop websites, apps and Shopify stores
Our Size and Style Solutions operate within shop websites, apps and Shopify stores. These sites and apps may collect personal information and/or place their own cookies on your computer, independently of our services. We do not control these shop websites, apps or Shopify stores and you will need to review their privacy policies to understand their practices.
Your Rights in your State, Country or Region
Privacy laws around the world give users the right to control the handling of your personal information. These may include:
Information. The right to be told how your personal information is being used
Access. The right to receive a copy of your personal information
Correction. The right to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Deletion. The right to have your personal information deleted.
Object. The right to object to the use of your personal information, including for direct marketing.
Non-discrimination. We will not hold it against you when you exercise your rights.
For the use of our Size and Style Solutions on partner shop websites, apps and Shopify stores, you may also:

Please note that if you have used the Size and Style Solutions on multiple browsers and devices, these controls may need to be applied separately for each browser on each device.
Our Size and Style Solutions are not intended for - and we don't direct them to - anyone under 13. Adults may request Size and Style Solutions for children, but the relevant data (including Fit Profile) will be associated with the adult requesting the service at their request. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
